Get in the Halloween spirit and join us on Wednesday 28 October to watch Freddy vs Jason, the crossover between the seemingly endless 'A Nightmare on Elm Street' and 'Friday the 13th' slasher movie series. Freddy vs Jason was nominated for best horror movie at the Saturn Awards, but at 41% on Rotten Tomatoes, reviews were mixed: "It's completely daft, and the one-liners are by now just plain cheesy, but there's a good deal of gore to keep the faithful amused, if not completely happy." (Kim Newman, Empire) "Only masochists need contemplate laying down good money on this atrocity." (Peter Howell, Toronto Star) "It's bloody, it's loud, it's gratuitous, and it's ridiculous. Sweet." (Tom Long, Detroit News) Freddy vs Jason is currently available to stream on UK Netflix, rated 18 by the BBFC.
